This project was the development of a PIC microprocessor based control and a Windows based control program for control of high power industrial lasers. The PIC controller drives the laser with a user adjustable PWM signal that can be adjusted either locally via an "endless" rotary encoder and displayed locally on a Hitachi 44780 compatible LCD display, or all adjustments and data may be display on the Windows based program.
